It aimed to get more women involved in politics and raise money for Bathurst’s wig library at Daffodil Cottage.
The event was held at Bathurst Goldfields, which had just a few days prior won the major award at the Peak Connect Carillon Business Awards.
Ladies at the lunch got to hear from some guest speakers, one of which was the Minister for Women, Tanya Davies, who was in Bathurst visiting several different organisations related to her portfolio.
Ms Davies said it was important that women are kept informed about things that would affect them and she was pleased to be at a luncheon that aimed to do just that.
