David ‘big match’ Clews lived up to his reputation with a brilliant 67 nett to win Saturday’s B grade Monthly Medal and also the ‘cock of the course’ for November. Trevor Reece (68) and Manuel Pro (69) rounded out the minors while Robert Pardey was the scratch champion on 83. John Fagan was back in the limelight with a fine 68 nett to win A grade from Phil Campbell (70) and Bill Casey (71), Darren ‘Gazelle’ Smith was the scratch victor with 74 off the stick.
