It was Barry Stubbs from Duntryleague who was the best of the bumper field, celebrating winning A grade with 40 points.
Stubbs got the nod on a countback from Peter Ryan from Mudgee and fellow Duntryleague golfer Gerry O'Neill (39).
B grade was even closer with Dave Gillard from Wellington winning with 39 points on a countback from Graham Blair from Bathurst and Paul Thompson from Wentworth.
The women’s event was won by Oberon’s Yvonne Collins with 37 points.
Closest to the pins were Barry Lang and David White, and balls went down to 32 on a countback.
The final three events in the Central West Veteran’s calendar are at Blayney (November 19), Bathurst (December 3) and Wentworth (December 17).
