Black Caviar became an Australia sporting icon after the mare maintaining an unbeaten record on the turf but now there’s a greyhound building up an impressive career of her own.
Caviar Quality ($2 favourite) set Kennerson Park alight on Monday afternoon in the Duke’s Ladbrokes Previews Final (307 metres) when she recorded her fourth win from as many starts.
She did it in a phenomenal time as well, winning in 17.41 seconds with a 9.80 run home.

It improved on her time of 17.58 from last Monday’s Kennerson Park.
Entrust’s long-standing track record of 17.36 remains unbeaten – but only just.
“Last Monday was her first time around here last week so she had to improve. She goes alright,” winning trainer Sam Sultana said.
“I just hope she can run a bit further, that’s all. We’ll soon give her a go at the 400m and see how she goes from there.”
Caviar Quality wasn’t fastest away in Monday’s race. Top Forty and Little Trapeze began strongest, which threatened to squeeze Caviar Quality out of the start.
Sultana’s bitch wasn’t having any of that, driving through the field and blowing out to a two length lead on the turn.
Caviar Quality’s class shone through as she extended the lead to four and a half length on the winning post.
Top Forty ($10.30) and Marcus Vella ($82.30) filled out the placings.
