The college says the leaders will play an important role in influencing “the culture of the new Junior and Middle School, representing students from kindergarten to year eight in the new college environment”.
Scots All Saints College, formed from a merger of All Saints’ College and The Scots School, will begin operation as an amalgamated entity next year.
The college will operate from two campuses in Bathurst: the Junior and Middle School (kindergarten to year four and years five to eight) will be on the All Saints Campus and the Senior School (years nine to 12) and years five to 12 boarding will be on the Scots Campus.

Head of All Saints Campus and director of the Middle School, Chris Jackman, said the new student leadership team represents a balance of students from The Scots School and All Saints’ College.
“In preparation to officially welcome the first families and foundation students in term one, 2019, the inaugural year of Scots All Saints College, we were mindful to ensure equal student leader representation as we seek to preserve the combined 200-year-plus heritage and culture of our original schools and create a new college of academic excellence, unrivalled space and specialist facilities,” Mr Jackman said.
Scots All Saints College says strong enrolments since the merged college’s official launch at the Spring Fair in September 2018 have led to classes being added for years seven, eight and nine and there will now be four class streams to provide more subject choice and development opportunities.
Mr Jackman said the college is in the process of recruiting more teachers and he expects staffing numbers “to be complete in the school holidays”.
The Scots All Saints College’s new student leaders from year eight to represent All Saints Campus (Junior and Middle Schools) are Emily Brown (Middle School captain), Charlotte Bertwistle (Middle School vice captain), Zane Newham (Middle School captain), Brody Paterson (Middle School vice captain), Xavier Adams, Francesca Burke, Megan Cook, Sarah-Joy Day, Hannah Gill, James Hillsdon, Noah Siede and Lachlan Thomas.
