They celebrated another successful year, enjoyed drinks and nibbles, and had some of their volunteers honoured by the National Trust of Australia (NSW).
Presented with the National Trust Meritorious Service Award was Richard Steele, while both Alison Arnison and Lyn Haley received the National Trust Voluntary Service Award.
Miss Traill’s House, located in Russell Street, was built in 1945 by the Reverend Thomas Sharpe and was bequeathed to the National Trust in 1976 by Miss Ida Traill.
She had lived in the house with her mother, Gertrude (nee Lee), from 1932.
The house and its gardens are lovingly cared for today by a team of dedicated volunteers.
