THEIR day might not have ended on the brightest note but Ben Orme certainly gave Bathurst City endless highlights during his game-winning knock against City Colts.
Orme’s 90 not out at opener ensured Redbacks would come away with the points from their first Bathurst District Cricket Association Twenty20 game of the season.
Orme and fellow opener Aditya Adey (37) combined for 111 runs during Bathurst City’s pursuit of Colts’ 153.
Redbacks dropped just two wickets on their way to victory, while earlier in the day Clint Moxon and Mick Tobin each picked up two Colts scalps.

The going was much tougher in the team’s second match of the day when they went down by 109 runs to St Pat’s Old Boys.
Matt Willis (20) was the only player to reach double figures as Bathurst City were rolled for 53 in their second game of the day, battered by Ben Parsons and Matt Fearnley’s eight combined wickets.
Cohen Schubert was the best of the Redbacks bowlers with 3-31.
