Kirra Chapman, 22, of Forrest Place, Bathurst, appeared before Bathurst Local Court charged with destroying or damaging property.
The court heard how Chapman went to Bathurst Police Station after her friend was arrested by police.
She was highly agitated and abusive towards police and her behaviour was captured by CCTV within the foyer of the station.
At 3.12am, Chapman stormed out of the station, punched a brick wall and then, facing the entrance of the station, swung her handbag around and threw it at the entry, shattering a glass panel in the sliding doors.
It wasn’t until 5am that police became aware of the damage. They reviewed the CCTV footage and contacted Chapman, who made full admissions to smashing the glass door.
