Bathurst MP Paul Toole played host as part of the Community Cabinet roadshow which aims to take the government’s top brass to rural and regional communities across the state.
A social barefoot bowls evening at the Bathurst City Community Club on the Wednesday evening proved to be an outstanding success with Ministers gracing the greens with the invited guests.
Mr Toole said the night was “something different” and achieved the aim of allowing a cross-section of the community meet members of the government in an informal atmosphere.
He said the Premier took great delight on the night in announcing a $200,000 grant to the Community Club for repairs to the club’s Great Room.
