A WET, stormy week is predicted across the Central West with one location expected to see as much as 80 millimetres before the weekend.
Widespread thunderstorms are expected across the region, with the greatest chance of these occurring from Tuesday to Thursday.
Mudgee is expected to be the wettest location in the region with up to 80mm of rain predicted to fall across the working week.
Up to 75mm of rain is predicted in Cowra, Grenfell and Young; while 70mm is expected in Orange.

Around 65mm of rain should fall in Bathurst, Dubbo, Oberon and Wellington.
Weatherzone also predict rain in Lithgow (60mm), Forbes (45mm), Parrkes (35mm) and Nyngan (30mm).
Meanwhile, the entire Central Tablelands remains in drought, with 28.6 per cent in intense drought, data from the NSW Department of Primary Industries shows.
While 100 per cent of the Central West is also in drought, with 45.5 per cent in intense drought.
