These shows will be special as they are the final ones for Year 12 students.
One of the students saying farewell is Claire Sheehan, who started with the troupe when she was in Year 7.
“[I’m feeling] all emotions – happy, excited, but sad to be leaving the circus community,” she said.
During this week’s performances, Claire will show off her acrobatic skills and be in the air on the trapeze.
Maddy Howle is also about to have her final show.
She was in Year 9 when she joined Cirkus Surreal and has learnt quite a few tricks along the way, as well as values such as team work and learning from others.
“I was lucky enough to go on both of the international tours since [Year 9] and I think most of my lessons have come from those tours,” Maddy said.
Her contribution this week will be a dance routine and group acrobatic act.
Tickets remain for shows on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday night, with people to be seated by 6.30pm.
People are encouraged to purchase tickets from the school early to avoid a line up on the night.
Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for children and pensioners.
Circus Surreal coordinator Stephanie Brown said the show would be a throwback to old-style circus performance, making people feel like they’re under the big top.
Audiences will be treated to every kind of circus skill, including aerial, acrobatics and floor routines.
Ms Brown wanted to say a special thanks to TFH Hire, which every year sets up raised seating in the school gym for free to enhance the viewing experience.
