The young women of the 2018 MacKillop graduating class leave behind them a wonderful legacy created through strong leadership, hard work, companionship and caring for others.
Our students turned up to breakfast last Thursday morning at the College to celebrate with their teachers the many achievements of this wonderful group.
Analysing the results, it is very satisfying to see the girls reap the rewards of their efforts, from not only this year but throughout their time at MacKillop. With some ATARs still to come in, currently our top nine students achieved ATARs in the 90s, and many more gained entry to their desired university through the Early Entry Scheme.
In relation to Band 6 and E4 results, the school ranked a commendable 216th in the state with 32 Band 6/E4 results across 17 students.
A closer look at the results highlights so many more incredible achievements that these young ladies have every right to be proud of.

We also congratulate all students who have taken a vocational pathway in the HSC for their outstanding efforts, many of whom have already started their working life, and wish them well in their future endeavours.
Great schools produce far more than results at the top end and all our local schools have achieved very good results for the young people we are responsible for.
The individual stories that accompany each of the HSC results are far more important than the numbers associated with them.
The MacKillop community would like to congratulate every student from all our local schools for their efforts over the past 13 years of their education and we wish all students the greatest success in the future.
Individual stories that accompany each of the HSC results are far more important than the numbers.

We also thank the teachers for their efforts in ensuring students were prepared for their HSC and, more importantly, for life after the HSC.
Finally, thanks to the Bathurst community for supporting our students in many ways during their education.
