A community Justice of the Peace desk has opened at the Bathurst City Centre for those who need access to a JP to complete documents. The desk is located at the top of the escalators of the Bathurst City Centre in front of Tarocash and operates from 3.30pm to 6pm on Tuesdays, 5pm to 7pm on Thursdays and 9am to noon on Saturdays.

The Lions Club of Bathurst meets on the first and third Thursday each month at 6.30pm for 7pm at the Bathurst RSL Club. Phone Dominic on 0425 800 271.

Wouldn’t It Be Nice – a Beach Boys Tribute will play at Panthers Bathurst from 8pm. This six-piece band emulates the beautiful music and harmonies of the Beach Boys. Unlike other Beach Boys tribute shows, no backing tracks are used, and instruments such as the violin and mandolin are played to recreate some of the classics such as God Only Knows and Wouldn’t It Be Nice.
