After taking a few days off for Christmas, the club hosted around 20 children on Wednesday, giving them plenty of activities to do.
School holiday program coordinator Katrina Harrison said that the activities included gymnastics, ball games, boot camp and circus skills.
The PCYC also offers parkour, golf and laser tag.
While there were a smaller number of children at the PCYC on Wednesday, Ms Harrison expected to see much bigger numbers in the coming days.
"Just because it's early in the new year we've got a very small group today," she said.
The holiday program is capped at 70 children a day, so parents are encouraged to secure places for their children to avoid disappointment.
"We don't want to turn people away, so make sure to get your bookings in," Ms Harrison said.
The school holiday program at the PCYC runs Monday to Friday during the school holidays, with the Australia Day public holiday at the end of this month being the only exception.
