Bathurst Presbyterian Church pastor Tristan Merkel said Super Summer Slam is event where anyone can hear the good news about Jesus.
“We find the words of Jesus quite compelling, so we want to give kids and families a chance to consider Jesus for themselves,” he said.
“We want people to have a chance to consider who Jesus is. Was he really God’s son? Could he be relevant today? We reckon those are intriguing questions.”
There are three different programs: Rugrats, for pre-school age children, Triple S, for primary school children, and Switch, for high schoolers and teenagers.
