The Summer Reading Program, for children aged zero to 17 years, will run until January 31 at Bathurst Library. The Bathurst Regional Art Gallery school holiday workshops are on again from Tuesday, January 15 to Thursday, January 24.
Tuesday, January 15 from 10:30am-12:30pm Rockface, six-17 years old. Wednesday, January 16 from 1:30pm-3:30pm Wacky Wall Works, eight-13 years old and Friday, January 18 from 10:30am-12:30pm Curious Creatures, 12-17 years old. Tuesday, January 22 from 1.30pm-3.30pm Pompom Animals, six-17 years old and Wednesday, January 23 from 1.30pm-3.30pm Balloon Bouquets, eight-13 years old.
Six workshops led by the gallery’s artist educators have been developed and inspired by the current BRAG exhibition Curiouser and Curiouser. Advanced booking and payment are essential. To book, call BRAG on 6333 6555 or book in person at the gallery front desk.
Coming up
On Friday 25 January the Citizenship and Awards Ceremony will be held at the BMEC where the community will come together to celebrate our new citizens and recognise notable achievements in our local community. Doors open at 5.30pm with the ceremony commencing at 6pm. Entry is free and the whole community is invited.
