The festival will feature a bumper lineup of activities catering for senior citizens of all levels of ability.
“Last year’s festival was a great success, and we’ve built on that this year,” festival chairman John Hollis said.
The festival will encourage senior citizens to participate in fitness classes, gain some helpful advice on how to use modern technology and engage in a variety of friendly social gatherings.
Some of the festival’s proud partners include Cityfit Fitness Club, the Bathurst RSL Club, Bathurst Seymour Centre and Gunthers Lane.
“It’s important that people realise becoming a senior citizen is simply the next chapter in your life, and it should be embraced,” Mr Hollis said.
“This festival gives seniors a means to get out of the house and be actively involved with the community.”
