To make the occasion memorable, Mr Hollis was joined in Peace Park by his family and friends for a small party.
His actual birthday was January 9, with the party held a few days later on January 12.
Mr Hollis is somewhat of a well-known figure around Bathurst, having an involvement in a variety of community groups and projects.
He is the president of the Combined Pensioners and Superannuates Association (CPSA), the chairman of the Rail Action Bathurst group and is involved in the organisation of the Bathurst Seniors Festival.
He is also a supporter of the Bathurst Seymour Centre and its projects.
