A community JP desk is available at Bathurst City Centre every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday (excluding public holidays). The free service is provided by the NSW Justices Association Inc Bathurst Support Group.

Saturday, January 26
Australia Day celebrations are coming up. Australia Day awards ceremony will be held at Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre on Friday, January 25 from 5.30pm for 6pm. Saturday, January 26 will feature a barbecue breakfast and community celebrations from 8am at Eglinton War Memorial Hall, including official ceremony, national anthem and flag raising, car displays and novelty races and giveaways for the kids; citizenship ceremony at BMEC at 10am; and free entry from 11am at the Manning Aquatic Centre.
Celebrate Australia Day with a classic afternoon high tea at Abercrombie House from 2.30pm with an Aussie twist. Cost: adults $49, concession $45, child under 14 $25, infants free. BYO champagne welcome. Tickets from Abercrombie House and Bathurst Visitors Centre.
