The internationally acclaimed Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour is on this weekend.
But there’s more to it than just the 12 hour race!
What is it?
The race is different from the Bathurst 1000. This is an endurance race invited production-based OR specialised endurance races at the Mount on February 3. Teams of three or four drivers compete to win the internationally recognised race. You can watch it on 7mate OR follow along with our Live Blog here (live from midday Saturday).
Count down until the race.
When’s it all kick off?
This year for the first time the cars and stars will be driving into the Bathurst CBD. In a 12 Hour first, a selection of 12 Hour GT3 machinery will drive from the Mount Panorama circuit to Russell Street on Thursday in what is being called “Town to Track”. Engines will click over at 11.30am on Thursday morning and the cars will head to town. Read more about the Town to Track here.
What’s next?
The track is open as the cars practice and perform qualifying rounds ahead of the big race! From Thursday there is merchandise, signings, car displays, boutique bars and cafes for keen race-goers. Merchandise alley has displays from Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Bentley, McClaren, Porsche, Aston Martin and Ferrari.
