A civilian police employee has been charged with mid-range drink driving after being stopped in Bathurst on Friday evening.

Officers attached to Chifley Police District will allege the 35-year-old woman was seen leaving a licensed premises on Ribbon Gang Lane about 6.30pm before she drove away in her car.
She was stopped in nearby Church Street and subjected to a roadside breath test which returned a positive result.
The woman, who is a civilian employee in the Western Region police command, was arrested and taken to Bathurst police station where she allegedly returned a reading of 0.091.
She has now been charged with mid-range PCA and is due to appear in Bathurst Local Court on Monday, February 25.
Her licence has been suspended and confiscated.
