Five Audi R8 LMS cars were entered for the race, including the two Pro Audi Sport Team Valvoline entries and the Melbourne Performance Centre, Hallmarc and Matt Stone Racing entries in the Pro/Am class.
The two Team Valvoline cars ran well, but damage for car #22 after a collision with the #19 Black Falcon Mercedes ended their chance at victory during the fourth hour, while car #2 suffered a mechanical problem on lap 156, just past halfway.
The #3 Audi was withdrawn after a huge accident at The Chase causing heavy damage on Friday.
Whilst success eluded the Pro teams, Audi will leave Bathurst with two trophies, with the Hazelwood, Lago and Russell Matt Stone Racing Audi and the Hallmarc entry of Holdsworth, Fiore and Cini finishing second and third in the Pro/Am class respectively.
