Luke Brennan was the standout performer during last Saturday’s February Monthly Medal, as his 64 nett was good enough to win the prestigious ‘cock of the course’ in C grade.

Unfortunately for Brennan he was bested for first place by visitor Jess Brook Taylor from Kurri Kurri GC who had a brilliant 62 nett. Shane Tildesley (65) was rewarded with third place and the scratch has gone to Paul Carver with 84 off the stick.
Daniel Stibbard has continued on with his stellar form of late to post 65 nett and win A grade from Ben Hobbs (67) and Warren Matthews (68), Kerry Stait chimed in to win the scratch on 74.
Rod Pollard carved out a brilliant 66 nett to win B grade, hot on his heels was Bob Cooper (67) and Dave Clyburn (68). A fine 81 off the stick picked up the scratch for Marty Meredith.
Congratulations to Danny Ross who aced the 13th and a belated shout out to Nic Winterton who hit the perfect shot on the eighth in last Sunday’s event.
Thursday saw the battle of the A grade titans as Mitch Bestwick and Darren Small both returned 39 points, in the end it was Bestwick who emerged supreme on a countback. The scratch went the way of Adrian Haynes with 31 points.
Ben Stevens carded 44 points to win the B grade crown over Chris Hanicar (42) and 24 points enabled Bruce Gray to win the scratch.
A mighty 52 points by the dream team of Erik Bieniek and Shawn Rowlands made sure they walked away with the 2BBB spoils from young gun Dylan Thompson and Stevens (47). Darryn Bruce and Darrell Bourke were once again the scratch winners on 34 points.
Terry Dwyer enjoyed the Sunday sunshine as attested by his 41 points to narrowly beat Robert Shannon by a solitary shot to win the Stableford event.
Meanwhile, the Ace in the Hole Bridge Club had another good week at the Bathurst Golf Club.
Last Friday Judy Haydon and Patricia Lockwood were the victors.
On Wednesday John and Joy Adams took the north/south honours, while the east/west victors were Peter and Ruth Lilley.
