Bulls learned firsthand how valuable they can be for teams when they were on the wrong end of one against Rugby Union – a win that shot the blue and gold to the top of the ladder.
Bottom-placed Centennials must turnaround the result against a team who beat them on the last ball during their previous Twenty20 contest, Bathurst City.
The problem is that Bathurst City are also without a win from their two-day matches and Bulls captain Andrew Brown is expecting a fired up Redbacks side.
“They definitely don’t have the experience that they used to but they’ve got some younger guys who are coming through,” he said.
Bulls had the bye in the opening round of two-day games which leaves them with three games to make a miraculous move through the standings.
Their previous game against Redbacks will be a hard game to gauge anything off, according to Brown, given the change in formats.
“You can take away things like confidence and learning about what each player is capable of but that’s about it. This is a different game,” he said.
“When you’re playing Twenty20 it only takes someone to make a good 30 or 40 or take a couple of wickets and it turns the game around.”
