JOHN Seaman understandably laments the subdued Southern Merino Ram sale in Canberra (Rural Notebook, February 7) but manages to suggest it is the Labor Party’s fault!
That’s the Labor Party which has been in opposition for almost six years.
In doing so, he follows the National Party tradition for taking credit for everything that goes well and blaming others for everything that goes wrong.
His claims that the Labor Party has plans to “impose stricter code-of-practice on every facet of livestock production” is a complete fiction.
Let’s stick to the facts including the failure of the Morrison Government to progress an effective drought policy and its mismanagement of our scarce water resources.
