If you haven’t got your flowers sorted for Valentine’s Day, don’t worry, there’s still time.
Ivory Rose Botanicals have already received plenty of orders for flowers from across the Central West region, but there’s still time to place an order in, with staff expected to be kept flat strap all day on Thursday.
Shop owner Maddie Veitch said Valentine’s Day proves to be one of the busiest days for the florist.
“It’s either Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day that proves to be the busiest,” she said.
“We’ve already received 100 pre-orders and we expect to get many more on the day.
“We find men don’t tend to pre-order, rather preferring to come in on the day.
“We have five and a half thousand stems of flowers.”
Ivory Rose Botanicals have received orders from not just in Bathurst but right across the Central West in Lithgow and Orange.
It’ll be the florist’s third Valentine’s Day, after opening in April, 2016, with last year’s romantic day receiving 187 pre-orders from across the Central West region.
And while Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day proves to be some of the busiest days of the year for Ivory Rose Botanicals, they are kept busy all year round providing flowers for weddings, birthdays, birth and other special occasions.
“Weddings is one of our specialities,” Ms Veitch said.

Ms Veitch said rose flowers always prove to be popular, while a mixed-seasonal bouquet of flowers are well favoured by customers as well.
