MOTORISTS heading through the Blue Mountains are urged to drive with caution following an overnight truck crash that has left part of the Great Western Highway closed.

The incident occurred at 1.10am on Thursday at the intesection of Goldsmith Place and the Great Western Highway in Katoomba.
The truck rolled during the crash leaving the road blocked, NSW Police said in a statement..
"Emergency crews were called to the intersection with Goldsmith Place at 1.10am, Thursday February 14, after the westbound semi-trailer rolled and slid 100 metres," officers said.
"The driver escaped injury, providing a negative roadside breath test."
RTA Live Traffic's website reports that at 8am on Thursday part of the highway still remained closed to motorists.
"One westbound lane of the highway remained open throughout the morning, however, all lanes westbound will be closed this morning to facilitate salvage of the wreckage," police officers said.
"Specialist lifting equipment is being brought to the scene now."
The truck was laden with general goods.
