A man has been charged after an elderly woman was allegedly indecently assaulted during a break-in at a Blayney retirement home.

Police will allege an 85-year-old woman was asleep in a unit of a retirement home on Adelaide Street, Blayney, about 11.40pm on Monday when she was woken by someone touching her.
The women saw a man in her room allegedly committing an act of indecency and challenged him.
The man left the room and the woman escorted him out of the unit before notifying police when she saw the man looking through her bedroom window.
Officers from Chifley Police District attended and commenced an investigation.
Following inquiries, investigators arrested a 41-year-old man at a home in Cowra on Tuesday.
He was taken to Cowra police station and charged with aggravated break and enter and committing a serious indictable offence; sexually touching another person without consent; break, enter and steal; receiving property; theft, possession of a prohibited drug; and possession of an unregistered firearm.
The charges also relate to a break-in at a commercial property in Blayney the same night.
The man appeared at Bathurst Local Court on Wednesday and was refused bail to appear at the same court on Monday, April 8.
