Maddison Honeyman, 11, will represent NSW Catholic Polding Schools at the 2019 NSW PSSA Tennis State Carnival to be held at Inverell May 7 to 10 while Reilley Allen, 11, will represent the Polding Area in basketball at the State Carnival from June 18 to 20 in Albury.
Both Honeyman and Allen have represented the school previously but moving to the Polding Teams in 2019 is a real coup.
The duo are strong local juniors playing regularly in local and district comps.
"Both Maddy and Reilley are very talented junior tennis and basketball players who work really hard on their games," school principal Kevin Arrow said.
"They are highly motivated from the Polding Catholic Schools Trials which were held at Lismore. We wish Maddy and Reilley well at the State Carnivals early in Term two."
The 2019 NSW PSSA State Carnivals brings together the very best from NSW government and non-government schools.
A champion region will be determined at the carnivals and in each sport a NSW PSSA schools team will be selected to participate in the School Sport Australia Interstate Exchange.
