That's the plan for City Colts when their Bathurst District Cricket Association first grade game with St Pat's Old Boys resumes this Saturday but the Saints aren't going to make it easy.
Pat's will resume at 6-329 after Nic Broes' 186 guided the Saints to a big total.
It forced Colts to spend a long day in the field and there's likely more overs to come, with the Saints' current score certainly not enough to feel completely safe on Loco Oval.
Colts captain Matt Stephen is expecting some fireworks from the St Pat's order, led by Brendon Cutmore who's still out in the middle on 61.
"We've scored over 400 there before so I think they'll come out for half an hour, maybe an hour, and just swing the willow around," he said.
"I think they could bat for half a day if they wanted to but that's not giving anyone a chance for a result.
"If I'd have won the toss I would have done exactly what they chose to do - not saying we would have got the same result - but the pitch was playing pretty well and was fairly flat."
Should the sun stay out until the match starts then Colts can expect similar batting conditions, if not better than the ones Pat's experienced on a drying outfield last Saturday.
The first innings winner is guaranteed to move to the top of the table.
