For the record, the generations go like this: the little cutie in the photo is Ella Rose and her dad is Jai Gillman.
Ella’s grandfather is Michael Gillman and her great-grandmother is Gail Kent.
Her great-great-grandparents are Judy and Bob Kent and her great-great-great-grandmother is Sue Kent, who also features in the photo.
Sue must be one of only a very few people who has had the chance to meet six generations of her own family – and she looks delighted by it.
To be honest, so are we.
PUBlic Choir to return for 2019
GRAB some friends, grab a beer and warm up your vocal chords – PUBlic Choir is returning for 2019.
The Mitchell Conservatorium initiative was a great success in 2018 and Parade is pleased to see it return for another year.
PUBlic Choir is held each month at the George Hotel under the watchful eye of conservatorium executive director Graham Sattler, who leads an all-in sing-along of a classic hit.
There are no sign-up fees and no pressure, just an opportunity to sing along to a classic hit and meet some new people.
The song of the month is revealed just 24 hours before each meeting, but it’s sure to be brilliant.
It’s all on again from 7pm on Tuesday, February 19.
Great a bunch of mates and get there for a night to remember.
Parade can promise you won’t regret it.
