Warren reminded the crowd in Las Vegas on Sunday of her work monitoring the bailout of banks during the financial crisis, and how it brought her to the gaming city to witness the epicentre of the mortgage crisis.
The Massachusetts senator told the crowd how her own family almost lost their home when she was growing up and described Washington DC as a place that works well for corporations and lobbyists but not families.
She also spoke about strengthening unions and passing comprehensive immigration reform.
Democratic presidential candidate Cory Booker, meanwhile, greeted hundreds of voters in Rochester, New Hampshire as he swung through the state that will hold the first primary next year.
The New Jersey senator is promoting his work on criminal justice legislation. Booker played an important role in shaping the bipartisan deal to overhaul federal sentencing and prison laws, working with Republican Senator Chuck Grassley.
The criminal justice deal was backed by President Donald Trump. He signed it into law in December.
