And while the competition's defending champions may be in last spot in the Bathurst District Cricket Association first grade, they've been hitting their strides in the Twenty20 format.
But now they're up against undefeated a Warriors outfit who remain undefeated in this year's Royal Hotel Cup campaign, with three wins and a draw with Lithgow Lightning after rain cancelled play between the two earlier this month.
Bulls take on the Warriors on Friday evening, in a do-or-die semi-final clash at Wade Park, and skipper Andrew Brown said his side should be pretty much at full strength, with the likes of big hitter Josh Toole included in the squad.
"Yeah we're just about at full strength, I think we're missing only the one player," he said.
"Josh Toole is in the side and he adds a lot too our team."
Bulls started off their Royal Hotel Cup campaign with two consecutive defeats, to Orange outfits Cavaliers and CYMS, but that was followed by two wins in succession, enough to propel the Bulls into the semi-finals.
"We started too well. The last two games we were playing some really good Twenty20 cricket," Brown said.
While Bulls did defeat the Warriors in the 2017-18 campaign, he did admit that he doesn't know too much about the Orange City team.
"I don't know too much about them, but we played them once last season," he said.
"We did beat them though."
Centennials batsman Mick Curtale is up the pointy end of the batting statistics, his 128 runs from four innings is the second best in the competition behind St Pat's Old Boys talent Nic Broes.
The winner will qualify for the grand final against either Cavaliers or St Pat's Old Boys on March 8.
Friday night's game between Centennials and Orange City gets underway at 7pm, from Wade Park.
