Shane Daunt had the luck of the Irish on his side during Thursday’s B grade par event, his score of +8 gave him a two-shot margin over Ian Thomas, Graham Lee (+5) rounded out third and the scratch went to Neil Adams on -12.

A three-way tie was the go in A grade as Darrell Bourke, Al Edwards and Dave Clemens all returned +5, in the end, Bourke was declared the winner on a count-back. The evergreen Tony Pryce signed for the scratch with -2.
Daunt was the perfect vehicle for Tom Fox to hitch a ride as their +12 was the winning 2BBB score from Thomas and Chris Boardman (+11). +5 picked up the scratch for Manuel Pro and Bourke
Saturday’s A grade standout was Dick Northey with a nicely compiled 39 points to hold off the chasing pack of Bob Boschman and Jono Cole by one shot. Mike Stanford has continued on with his recent good form to win the scratch on 35 points.
B grade was a battle fought between Terry Dwyer and Peter Ward after both players fired 39 points, Dwyer getting the judges nod on a count-back. Mick Fitzgerald was a shot away in third and the scratch has gone the way of Steve Finnerty with 24 points.
Grand Bowman shot a majestic 42 points to win C grade, Garry Pomeroy (41) and Rod Upton (40) rounded out the minor places. 20 points enabled Josh Stibbard to win the scratch.
The ladies had a very productive week as Kim Jamieson (70) was first past the post in Tuesday’s Division 1 race, Toni Pender chimed in for 73 nett to win Division 2 and Division 3 was taken out by Barb Anderson with 76 nett.
Thursday saw Di Johnston lead the pack on +2 while Saturday went to Ladies President Denise Simpson with a fabulous 41 points.
