Bathurst Golf Club will again host the Legacy Golf Day to raise money so Legacy, which supports widows and their families, can continue to provide care and assistance to more than 250 people in the region.
"The day is about raising money, but come up to the club and have some fun," golf day co-ordinator Peter Brien said.
"The event on the day is a four-person ambrose hitting off at 9am and you don't have to be a regular golfer; we will give you a handicap for the day if you don't have one.
"You don't have to be a team of four. The Pro Shop can fit you in with other players to make up a team."
In addition to the on-course game, there will be raffles and a lucky player prize of two nights' accommodation at the Anchorage Resort at Port Stephens to be won.
"The cost of the day is $40, which includes your game of golf and lunch at the completion of the game," Mr Brien said.
Those who want to take part are asked to register ahead of time to make sure they get a spot.
"Members of the golf club can book their time on the club's website and non-members can ring the Pro Shop on 6331 1379 to book their spot," Mr Brien said.
