We are pleased to see all of our returning students back again, looking relaxed and refreshed after the holiday break, and ready for the challenges and the learning that another school year will bring. We particularly welcome our new Kindergarten children to our school and also the children who have joined us in other classes.

Cathedral School will continue its innovative approach to student learning through its effective program, Transforming Instruction to Enhance Learning Through Expertise and Collaboration. With a focus on teacher expertise and collaboration, our approach has transformed and student achievement, particularly in the areas of literacy and numeracy. The following events are planned for Catholic Schools Week:
- March 3 - 10am CSW Mass in the Cathedral.
- March 4 - MacKillop / Stannies visit for Year 6
- March 5 - Shrove Tuesday (Pancake Day)
- March 7 - 2pm to 3pm Open Classrooms.
- March 8 - 2pm School Assembly hosted by Years 1, 5 and 6
- 6.30pm P&F Open Air Theatre
