Mariners have been drawn to play away to North Rocks SC, an association club from the Hills Football Association, in the third round of the competition's preliminary rounds.
And while North Rocks may be an association club, it doesn't mean it'll be easy work for the Mariners.
During the club's 2018 FFA Cup campaign, Mariners were taken to extra-time against association side Lindfield, before prevailing 3-1.
Mariners then went on to play Central Coast side Berkeley Vale, another association side, but were thumped 6-0.
Mariners' best run in the competition was in 2015, where they lost to Balmain Tigers 3-0. Had Mariners won that match they would've qualified for the FFA Cup round of 32 and could've potentially hosted an A-League team in the Central West.
A date is to be confirmed for the Mariners versus North Rocks match, but it will take place before the end of March.
