A MANHUNT is under way for a man who allegedly stabbed and killed another man in an incident in Orange in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Emergency services were called to a house at Romano Drive just after 3am after reports of a physical altercation between two men, who were known to each other.
On arrival, a 20-year-old man was found unresponsive with a stab wound to his chest.

Officers from Central West Police District performed CPR on the man, however when NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived, he was declared deceased at the scene.
A second man, aged 26, fled the area in a Holden Commodore before officers arrived.
Police are currently searching the surrounding the area and have since located the vehicle - unattended - on Clinton Street.
Crime scenes have been established at both locations which will be examined by specialist police.
Investigations are continuing with assistance from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad.
No arrests have been made, and anyone with information is urged to come forward.
