The Lachlan Valley Railway will run an evening dinner train from Orange to Millthorpe and onto Bathurst, and a lunch time train on the Sunday.

Secretary treasurer of LVR John Healey said it had been a scramble to get the service running for the special occasion and over the weekend.
Milthorpe Village committee president Sam Yeates said the reopening would be celebrated with about 300 people at the station on Friday.
"It should be a fairly exciting event," he said.
"We're getting the school choir and school band coming down to greet the train.
"We've been without a passenger service for about 30-odd years."
He said locals had to fight off plans to demolish the station back in the 1990s.
