The Bathurst team have riders contesting the hill climb, criteriums and the feature Blayney to Bathurst event across both the long and short course.
The squad are not just passionate about their road cycling but boast backgrounds in different sporting disciplines like mountain biking and triathlon.
While many riders have made the 110 kilometre long course race their target for the season three members of the D2F have penned it in as a warm-up for an even tougher event.
That's not to say that the trio aren't determined to make the most of their home city race.
In fact, they've got winning ambitions.
Ryan O'Donnell, Steve Dunstall and Jeremy Ryan will be racing as a team in this Sunday's long course, looking for encouraging results ahead of the 228 kilometre Grafton to Inverell Classic.
O'Donnell, a former overall winner of the Blayney to Bathurst short course, is primed for a charge in Sunday's race.
"I'm probably in a better position than I was this time last year. Steve and I have been doing some pretty big kays in the last four to five weeks," he said.
"The three of us are hoping we can take out the teams division.
"It all depends on the average speed in the bunches, as it takes the combined time of the three riders.

"Our ultimate objective is in May with the Grafton-Inverell. It's a great build up for that race."
O'Donnell is excited to see strong numbers within the team's ranks across all age groups and waves.
"It's excellent that we've got mountain bikers and triathletes in here, plus the masters racers as well. A lot of thanks goes to D2F for sponsoring us," Ryan said.
"When we're riding together we're always looking out for one another and try to protect each other. If someone feels better than the others we try to give them an opportunity to get into a winning position."
The team, managed by Mark Simons, also consists of Dennis and Jodie Martin, Brad Rayner, Hollee Simons, Jarrod Bell, Harry Carter, Richard Hobson, Dan Watson and Nick North.
Rayner, currently the reigning Bathurst Road Series champion, will be the team's sole participant in the long course's elite wave of riders.
Jodie and Dennis Martin, Rayner, Dunstall, O'Donnell and Hobson will take part in Saturday's hill climb.
