Jack Duggans opened its doors at 10am on Sunday morning, serving a full Irish breakfasts featuring bacon, pork sausages, eggs, white pudding, black pudding and toast before live entertainment from Tripsan Falls providing attendees with a session of Irish tunes.
This was followed by Tameka Kennedy and Ash Sproule in the afternoon and Blonde 182 in the evening.
"It's definitely one of the busiest days behind the bar," bartender Felicity McKellar said.
Irishman Tom Fox said St Patrick's Day is a massive part of the Irish culture.
"It's our unofficial nation day and if you're working in a pub in Ireland, you're not getting the day off," he said.
St Patrick's Day is held on March 17, the traditional death date of Saint Patrick, the foremost patron saint of Ireland.
