Pat's resumed play on Saturday needing just 23 runs for a first innings win with seven wickets in hand.
The Saints didn't drop a wicket as they quickly reached the target of 94 before declaring shortly after at 4-103 following the dismissal of Tanvir Singh (15).
The outright victory was within the Saints' grasp when they skittled Bulls for just 70 runs, courtesy of big bowling efforts from Broes (5-24 from 10 overs) and Matt Fearnley (3-22 from four).
With 63 runs needed for victory Pat's lost the wickets of Broes (12) and Ben Mitchell (10) before Ryan and Brendon Cutmore (3 not out) got their side home.
Broes finished the match with combined figures of 10-43.
The win would have taken Pat's to the minor premiership and a grand final spot if not for City Colts achieving an outright victory of their own against Rugby Union.
Despite missing out on the first grand final position Pat's will have the chance to fill the remaining spot when they play Bathurst City in the upcoming preliminary final.
And Pat's will do so with nine straight victories to their name.
Ryan said the best thing to take away from the past two Saturdays was his team's ability to remain focused on the job.
"It's a win that keeps the momentum going which we took out of the one dayers. We just have to put in the last bit of work in the training paddock and push through in order to play our best cricket," he said.
"Sometimes you can get a little complacent so it was great to see that we were able to get the job done without wasting too many wickets or opportunities.
"We were quite clinical in the end but we know it's going to be a whole different game this Saturday.
"We'll be down one player, with Matt Fearnley away, but apart from that we'll be at full strength. It's great that at this time of year we've got Ben Mitchell and Bailey Brien back from ISA."
