The unregistered player finally came forward on Friday to claim the $200,000 first prize in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1234, drawn on Wednesday, February 27.
The winner, who has chosen to remain anonymous, bought their random number entry at Newspower Bathurst in the Stockland Shopping Centre.
Newspower Bathurst co-owner Stacey Buttsworth said she was excited to hear that the winner had claimed their prize.
"Everyone in store has been pretty excited since we discovered we'd sold a first prize winning entry," she said.
"We've been telling everyone to check their tickets and it's been the talk of the town as to whether the winner had claimed the prize.
"I'm happy to share with my customers that the winner has come forward.
"We wish them all the best with their win."
The $200,000 first prize was Bathurst's third major lotteries win in the space of just a few weeks.
It came just a week after a Bathurst tradie had also won $200,000 on the Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot and four weeks after a Bathurst couple became instant millionaires with a $20 million Oz Lotto windfall on January 29.
