The Macquarie Care Centre Auxiliary is looking forward to another year of fundraising and always welcomes new members at its meetings. Join the members for afternoon tea after the meetings, which are held the third Wednesday of each month at 2pm in the St Vincent's Function Room, Gormans Hill Road. The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 20.
Neighbourhood Centre Knit-In will be held at 96 Russell Street from 1.30-3.30pm.

Jim Cartwright's timeless comedy Two will be performed at Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre at 7.30pm. Fourteen colourful characters are all skilfully played by Brian Meegan and Kate Raison.
Friday, March 22
Bathurst Library will host a free information session by the Sydney-based Seniors Rights Service that will look at planning ahead for older people. The talk will cover the difference between enduring power of attorney and enduring guardianship; how to issue advance care directives; organising a will; the rights of the elderly; and protecting the financial vulnerability of older people. The Combined Pensioners and Superannuants Association (CPSA) will hold an expo to showcase the Defence Service Dogs Program. Hear about the impact services dogs have on veterans and see demonstrations of their life-changing skills. All members of the public are invited to attend. The expo will be held at Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre from 10am.
