Rink 9: Gus Thurgood, Kevin Howard and Peter Naylor struggled from the start against Bob Bembrick, George Ballard and Tony Hogan.
Team Naylor were trailing Team Hogan by 12 points after 10 ends and it wasn't until the last three ends that Team Naylor made a dint in the score, scoring 9 points but to only fall short to Team Hogan 26-20.
Rink 10: Terry Clark, Jim Clark and Alan Clark had the Clark advantage over Frank Farrell, Ray Minogue and Paul Kennedy.
