Held on Saturday, March 9, the O'Connell ute show saw 50 vehicles take part, raising a grand total of $3965.78 towards the Burrumbuttock Hay Runners.
Ute show organiser John Crasti said the event was well received by those who attended.
"We had people from as far away as Western Australia come across for the event and to get 50 utes to our first ever show is quite special," Mr Crasti said.
"Roughly 200 to 300 people attended the event throughout the day, and everyone was well behaved."
The event was attended by Burrumbuttock Hay Runners founder Brendan Farrell, who provided further information on the charity.
"Having the founder there certainly encouraged more people to donate money towards the cause," Mr Crasti said.
After a successful debut outing, Mr Crasti is hoping to turn the ute show into a yearly event.
"It's a great event for everyone to enjoy a few quiet drinks, see some live music and observe some superb utes," he said.
"We're hoping to add a camping element to next year's event."
