No, we're not referring to the Penrith Panthers' and Melbourne Storm's NRL players, who will face off in their round three clash at Bathurst's Carrington Park on Saturday night.
At half-time in that game 22 players from LiveBetter Disability Services in Orange and Bathurst will take to the field for an eight-minute all abilities league tag contest under the lights.
The chance to play alongside some of the NRL's top players is a dream come true for our team members.
- LiveBetter Disability Services Coordinator Clare Plunkett
According to LiveBetter Disability Services Coordinator, Clare Plunkett, the LiveBetter players can't wait to get out on the field for what will be a memorable experience.
"The chance to play alongside some of the NRL's top players is a dream come true for our team members," Ms Plunkett said.
"We can't thank Bathurst Regional Council, the NRL, and our fellow game sponsors enough for organising and supporting an event which celebrates inclusiveness and for giving us the opportunity to participate.
Kick-off for the main game is 7:30pm, with the LiveBetter sides set to take the field at about 8.10pm.
