O'Connell-based winery Renzaglia Wines will be opening their doors this weekend to bring people together in celebration of this year's harvest season.

Renzaglia Wines is set to host their second annual Harvest Long Lunch on Sunday, April 7 in collaboration with Lawson-based organic food co-operative Lyttleton Stores.
Mark and Sam Renzaglia, the father-son team behind the winery's operations, are looking to promote an atmosphere that celebrates sustainable produce.
"It's an event where people can relax and enjoy some fantastic food and wine in a rustic setting," Mark said.
"We also want to celebrate farmers who are going above and beyond to grow organic produce," Sam added.
The event will feature a selection of products from Bilpin's Harvest Farms, Hartley's Epicurean Harvest and Oberon's Down to Earth Produce.
"With the advantage of higher annual rainfall and more fertile soils in the Blue Mountains, these producers are able to bring things to the table that can't be grown as easily in the Bathurst region," Sam said.
Renzaglia Wines has been in operation since 2001, and is now recognised among the most prominent wineries in the Bathurst region.
Mark owns the winery along with his wife Sandy, with Sam playing a key role in the production process.
In regards to winemaking, both Mark and Sam agree that the profession is a timeless art.
"There's not many jobs where you can be involved from the very beginning and watch it grow into something that is appreciated by many," Mark said.
"I love how winemaking captures a period of time in a bottle, and every time we crack one open, it allows us to revisit a particular season and reflect on our past," Sam added.
Around 90 people are expected to attend the event, with tickets selling out 10 days after they went on sale.
The winery will also be opening their cellar door on Saturday, April 6 as part of Oberon's inaugural Field to Forest festival.
"We've joined forces with various other Oberon-based producers as part of a tour to showcase the region's beer and wine," Sam said.
