It will be at the CWA hall in Russell Street from 9.30am-3.30pm this Saturday, April 6 and topics will include the range of records now available online that can help researchers, and there will be presentation on search tips and strategies to get the most out of Trove.
Hosted by the Bathurst District Historical Society, the seminar offers practical advice on assessing key record sources, followed by a range of case studies on applying this to research projects.

Night tour
THE community is invited to join a behind-the-scenes night tour of Abercrombie House from 6.30pm-8.30pm this Thursday, April 4.
The night tour will celebrate both the Bathurst Autumn Colours Festival and the 50th anniversary of tourism at Abercrombie House.
Bookings are essential with a limit of 25 people.

Country star
COUNTRY music star Troy Cassar-Daley will bring his greatest hits tour to Bathurst RSL this Friday, April 5 at 8pm.
This intimate acoustic show features Troy's greatest hits mixed with stories of his life and musical journey.

Machattie music
THE Bathurst Regional Youth Council will host YJAM in the Park from 6pm-10pm this Friday, April 5.
YJAM is a free youth music event in Machattie Park featuring performances from young local musicians including Luke Furbank, Sweet Revenge, Belle Whitwell, Oscar Stocks, Jasmine Gold, Izzy Cobcroft, Bean, Cameron Russell, Tristan West, Brooke Webb.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
YJAM in the Park is a drug and alcohol free event.
