The broadcast of the match between Bathurst clubs Panthers and St Pat's was given the green light after the question of whether Carrington Park could meet the broadcast's technical specifications was resolved.
The team led by Ray Hadley, Bob Fulton, David Morrow and Darryl Brohman will another level of interest to what is already one of the biggest matches on the Group 10 regular season calendar.
Bathurst Panthers president Dennis Comerford said it's satisfying to see the deal come to fruition after a lengthy discussion process.
"It was a long time in the making. We kicked off discussions about 18 months ago," he said.
"Over the last four to six weeks it's been on and off. There was an issue regarding the internet connection at Carrington Park, since they require a certain speed to broadcast.
"It was just a case of switching on the NBN at the ground and that meant it's going ahead, since it's been tested out and everything's adequate.
"To have someone like them call our game live, going across Australia, is a big deal. It adds to the atmosphere and it promotes Bathurst across the country."

The Continuous Call Team made their previous appearance in Bathurst for the 2014 New Era Cup clash between the CSU Mungoes and Orange Barbarians.
This will be the third ANZAC Day match Panthers have hosted and the club have produced another special one-off jersey for the home clash.
Panthers have previously paid homage to the Australian army and navy so naturally they've given acknowledgement on this year's jersey to the air force.
"This year we're recognising the air force's involvement in Korea and Vietnam, which has been incorporated on the design of the jerseys," Comerford said.
"The blue in the jersey represents the blue on the air force's flag.
"We'll have some of the Bathurst Air Cadets coming for ANZAC Day game and they'll be leading the players out and carrying to trophy onto the field. It's great to have them involved."
Panthers' premier league side have no game until the ANZAC fixture, having brought their match against Blayney Bears forward as the NRL curtain raiser.
